[Sporting News] English Premier League side Arsenal unveiled their new kit for next season on Saturday (26 June).

More than 300 supporters and staff attended the unveiling at the Emirates Stadium, which was modelled by the club’s recently signed midfielder.

“Celebrating the 20th anniversary of our unbeaten Premier League season in 2003-04, the new kit reflects the spirit of that team,” said Arsenal, “featuring the Arsenal club and shirt sponsor Adidas logos in gold on the shoulder tricolour and the record of 26 wins and 12 draws from 38 games in that historic season on the side of the shirt.”

Arsenal won the 2003-04 season under Arsène Wenger, finishing unbeaten with 26 wins, 12 draws and 90 points from 38 games.

“Twenty years on from that remarkable achievement, we aim to carry on the values, spirit and cohesion of the 2003-04 squad,” he added.

“We are in this together,” said Saka, who modelled the shirt, “The support we have received from our supporters, family, colleagues and friends around the world this season, both at home and away, has been tremendous and I am delighted to wear it next season. It is very powerful to know that our teammates, supporters and friends are leading us. We are stronger when we move forward together.”

Arsenal Women will wear their new kit in their final game of the season when they host Aston Villa Women.

The unveiling of Arsenal’s kit for the 2023-24 season took place at the Emirates Stadium.

However, by finishing second this season, they have secured a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League. Arsenal’s last Champions League appearance was in the 2016-17 season, seven years ago.
