Sergio Busquets (43, Barcelona) announced his retirement from the national team.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) officially announced the news of Busquets’ retirement from the national team on the 16th (Korean time) through its official website, saying, “Sergio Busquets is ending his valuable career as a player in the Spanish national team.” 토토
FC Barcelona legend Busquets started his national team career in April 2009 against Türkiye. Since then, he has established himself as one of Spain’s midfielders, leading the national team to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and UEFA Euro 2012.
Busquets played a total of 143 games until the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which is the third-highest record for the Spanish national team.
The Spanish national team tried again to win this World Cup, but was eliminated after a penalty shootout in the round of 16 match against Morocco on the 7th.
