Nantes Official Announcement, Director César “I am happy to be back in France”

Coach Cesar Hernandez, who leads the Korean women’s volleyball team먹튀검증, has become the French women’s volleyball team in France Nantes.

On the 13th, Nantes said on its official website, “Cesar, a 45-year-old Spanish coach, became Nantes’ new command tower for the 2023-24 season. He is also the current head coach of the Korean women’s national volleyball team. Until last season, I had a world-class experience, helping manager Giovanni Guidetti lift two Champions League titles at Turkiye Vakifbank.”

Next, Nantes praised his performance at Vakifbank, saying, “In Vakifbank, one of the biggest club teams in Europe, coach César won a total of 9 trophies in 4 seasons.”

Director César said, “I am happy to return to France after passing through Italy and Turkey. He felt that the French league had improved a lot. My goal is clear. They want to be a top-notch team to win titles. It is important not only to advance to the French Championship, but also to make Nantes known on the European stage.”

Cesar, born in 1977, has worked in Spain from 2000 to 2014, from power analysis to assistant coach and coaching. After that, he started his career as an assistant coach for two seasons at Lokomotiv Baku, Azerbaijan, and in the 2016-17 season, he served as an assistant coach at Le Canet in France. It means that he will be on the French stage again after 6 years.

Afterwards, coach Cesar worked as an assistant coach for Italian women’s volleyball Scandicci in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, then transferred to Turkiye Vakifbank in 2019 and joined hands with coach Guidetti. At the same time, she assisted coach Stefano Lavarini in the Korean women’s volleyball team.

From 2022, after coach Lavarini left, he directly took the lead of the national team, and said goodbye to Turkiye Vakifbank this year.

Meanwhile, Nantes finished 4th in the French league last season. There is no league championship yet. The league’s best results were runner-up in the 2013-14 and 2018-19 seasons. This year, they plan to compete in the CEV Cup, which is one level lower than the Champions League of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).

Coach Cesar will be on the French league stage alongside Korean setter Lee Da-young, who recently transferred to France’s Bolero.
